About me This site should serve to present and catalog my reading exploits, my thoughts and opinions, and (be I so bold as to hope** Hope. Every man who has rotted here over the centuries has looked up to the light and imagined climbing to freedom. So simple. So easy. And, like shipwrecked men turning to sea water from uncontrollable thirst, many have died trying. I learned that there can be no true despair without hope.) connect me to another hooman bean.

I (currently) read a lot, and I manage a booklog. I read to extend my worldview/viewpoint, argument, possibility, and opinion archives; to broaden my knowledge, for 'fun', and to passing the damn fucking time. Books receive rating, and review/remask, based on worthiness. More in /lit/. Miscellaneous other texts in /udr/.

I (used to) listen to a lot of music in monsterous fashion, and compose too. In due time, I'll share my works. As for my musical tastes, you can see the provided last.fm page, containing 90–97% of what I've heard over past (as of IW date), say, 9 years. Tersely, technical and/or brutal music: metal, jazz, and classical, I like; myriad artists, bands, genres I've listened to.

I also have interests in various areas of physics and mathematics, but that won't be pumped here; and, lastly, I've interest in software and programming. Growing ever since ms dropped the guillotine on win7 support. You can see what I use, or my suboptimal J solutions to project euler problems.

I'm no good with words (or maybe wording?)—music, literature, knowledge, you could say, are passions. But I don't constrain who I am through my relations to others people, objects, or concepts. I am. It doesn't matter if you get my draught, since you should already have an inkling of an accurate feeling on whether you want to invest your time on me. My character should be evident, even if exaggerated, from my writing, so I shan't self-prescribe a shopping scroll of adjectives.

About this site I'd recommend using a display wider than higher to reduce rivers. Underlined text may be hovered over for additional text; links and clickables are in orange; small, right-justified gray text indicates times of completion of initial work, and that of last update, 'IW' and 'LU' respectively.

I welcome spelling, punctuation, and wording corrections and suggestions; and even more so—criticism on my writing, argumentation, style, or anything else really, so hesitate not in commenting or contacting me using the below links.
